Liebaert returns to Interfilière with a stand-out collection

After a couple of years of absence Liebaert has decided to return to “Interfilière Paris” this January. A loyal participant since the early days, the company made a significant contribution to the dynamism and success of the Interfilière shows. This year Liebaert is returning with a collection that will stand out from the crowd.

“We’ve focused on a number of new projects during our few years’ absence. This was a way of diversifying and ensuring the company’s longevity. A strategy that has enabled us to guarantee profitability. Bodyfashion remains our largest market and that’s likely to be the case for years to come. Our return to Interfilière was in our best interests,” explains Alain Liebaert, Company CEO.

A major new innovation which we will be showing at the Fair are our NXT.GEN eco fabrics, featuring several types of knits (power nets, dull, glossy, etc.) using RECONYLON®, a recycled polyamide from Nurel (generating only 53% of the carbon emissions of standard nylon 6), which is created within a closed system, using nylon waste recovered from the spinning process, and produced in a facility which uses only renewable energy.

As always our NanoStitch® fabrics will play another crucial role in our new collection. Developed around a key fabric, an ultra-soft NanoStitch® fabric with a very sensual hand-feel, this next generation light weight knit provides an unparalleled “second skin” feeling with a high elasticity (39% elastane).

Another highlight of our new collection are our fine gauge EBC or Electronic Beam Control jacquards powered by the Lycra® Sport and the Lycra® Beauty technology . They offer a combination of different base structures and patterns in a variety of yarn types: dull or glossy, sheer or opaque, in tone-on-tone or contrasting colour versions. Depending on the structure used, they are ideal for intimates or sportswear. The EBC fabrics will come in three families; the “Ethnic Embroidery” brings subtle ethnical multicolour jacquard patterns with an embroidered look.  While the “Full Square” fabrics use an exclusive style of contemporary geometric surfaces with a combination of mat and shiny yarns to give an unprecedented “depth” to the design.  The “Stripe Sporty-Chic” works with a combination of lines and see-throughs offering both lightness and strength. The placement of waves creates a “ripple” effect of dull and shiny combinations an unusual mix.

Our new collection will also consist of new digital – and traditional prints, power nets, warp –  and circular knits, flocks and many more. Come see it all at “Interfilière Paris” from the 19th until the 21st of January at “Paris Expo Porte de Versailles” Stand S3.
