26 Aug Lingerie winter 2021 Collection
Liebaert’s new lingerie collection for winter 2021 has been finalised, and you’ll love it!
For this collection our designers tried mixing both old and new and got their inspiration from the rustic country side and craft trades. The colours of our lingerie 2021 winter collection are inspired by the Flemish primitives from the 15th and 16th century such as Jan Van Eyck and Pieter Breugel. Although quite dark the colours still attain a high level of brightness.
Central in this collection are a couple of our signature EBC jacquard fabrics combining matte and shiny yarns in square patterns, creating a nice 3D depth effect. Our jersey fabrics were altered with Lurex yarns and new jacquards were developed to add that tad of transparency.
On the Powernet side new jacquards patterns were developed in order to bring lightness to the fabric. We re-worked on our panel fabrics and developed new geometric jacquard structures on the seamless edge in a slight dégradé effect.
This collection will also bring you some new digital and traditional prints, mainly concentrating on floral lace prints and nacre prints playing on the dark chiaroscuro.
